For six weeks Peter, Lynn, Jon and Val worked in a terraced house which was awaiting refurbishment in Levenshulme in Manchester. They each responded to what they found to make an installation in a room. Local people and children called in and a street party was held at the end. Evolving documentation in the form of a book was displayed at Cornerhouse.
The artists used this process to get to know each other and their work, the start of a long collaboration under the name of Tea.
